Philip Wischmeyer
CLASSICS EAGLES Director
Phil leads Classics Eagles Soccer Club, which offers a competitive, community based travel soccer program. This unique “no-tryout program” allows players to develop, compete and enjoy an enhanced soccer experience under qualified coaches who receive professional support and guidance. Phil is charged with evolving the Classics Eagles program to deliver even more innovative solutions to meet the needs of the soccer community.

Background
Philip Wischmeyer is a youth soccer coach and community leader with experience developing programs, supporting coaches, and building positive team environments. A lifelong athlete and U.S. Army National Guard veteran, Phil brings a steady, service-minded approach to leadership.
He has coached and directed youth soccer programs across central Ohio, including serving as President of the Indian Lake Youth Soccer Association, where he helped grow participation and improve organization at the grassroots level. Phil has also coached competitive boys teams with Columbus United SC, focusing on player development, teamwork, and confidence both on and off the field.
Outside of coaching, Phil has worked in business and nonprofit management, gaining experience in communication, operations, and building systems that help people succeed. He’s excited to bring that background to Classics Eagles to help strengthen the club’s culture and support its families and coaches.

Classics Eagles leadership team and Classics Eagles Administrator, Scott Smith, supports the players, families and coaching staff of the Classics Eagles Soccer Club.

WHO ARE THE COACHES?
Dedicated volunteers who are passionate about teaching young players the game. Coaches are provided administrative & training curriculum support throughout the year by the Director and full time Classics Eagles leadership team. Coaches are provided coach education, session plans, licensure opportunities, and mentorship throughout the year. Head coach’s child’s fees are waived. Discount can be split among multiple coaches.
