This page introduces the CE Competitive Program.  Parents move their child from a recreational soccer program to either the CE Competitive (volunteer parent coach) or Barça Academy Columbus (professionally coached) programs because they believe their child is ready for a new challenge.  Parents want their child to have fun, play with friends, and learn new skills.  Parents want to see their child play with and be challenged by peers who have like interest and commitment levels.  We are in this together!  We look forward to serving your family through the game of soccer during the next year!

CE Competitive Teams are forming in both CE Olentangy and CE Westerville.  Information below applies to both communities.

As a soccer club, CE believes that a child’s development as a soccer player is influenced by (1) teammates, (2) coaches and (3) playing opportunities.  Together these three areas help create an environment that is FUN, challenging, motivating as well as age and ability appropriate.  When one of these three elements is out of balance, the child’s development may be compromised.  A family’s decision to take a child out of the recreational soccer program is often complex and influenced by many factors:  need for a higher level of competition; need for a peer group that shares like goals, interests and commitment level; financial limitations, time constraints; interests in playing multiple sports in the same season…. and the list goes on.  Classics Eagles shares the responsibility to educate parents and coaches about their soccer options so they can select the experience best suited for their child.  We believe the CE Competitive and Barça Academy Columbus programs support parents and coaches create an environment that maximizes each player’s development.
